Well they say the rainy season in Japan is in June, but that’s not technically true as it rains quiet a lot throughout the year. It might be a good idea to not only have an umbrella cause it’s also windy quiet a lot too. And, those umbrellas really don’t stand a chance under those predominant weather patterns that occur here. You might be better off investing in a really good rain coat Also, having great rain boots won’t hurt either as most places require you to take off your shoes. You really don’t need the problem of placing wet socks into slippers..

My least favorite weather... Usually I fly out of Japan and go visit my home country but these past years because of what you know I'm stuck in Japan 😂
I don't mind the rain itself but the humidity,.moist and hot air ..****😭
A umbrella and boots have always been enough for me but a umbrella is definitely a no when it's a typhoon.
Also if you ride a bike, it’s actually illegal to ride with umbrella out, you better purchase a poncho, or rain suit. The rainy season is difficult.
Totoe no no ABC Mart. I am not so sure of the store’s name but it is behind London store - if you know there? Still Ameyoko exit. And there are a variety of stores selling various shoes in Ueno so it might be worth walking around. I have not been there in a while, but I am sure there must be one store there that has rain boots in that side. The thing about rain boots is that they are wide so it’s not so hard to find that size. It’s just when the shoes are narrow in style it’s really hard.
Ameyoko? Do you recommend a particular shop? I got military boots at ABC Mart in Ameya yoko cho that were over 25 cm, unisex style. But I haven't been to Ameyoko in a while. Is that what you're referring to?
Totoe I meant Ueno the shopping district in Tokyo. It is located on the Amioko exit side. It is close to the Post Office.
Totoe you can purchase shoes in H & M up to size 27 in women’s size and for the rain boots you can purchase them in Uneo - that’s in Tokyo. I am not sure where you are but there should be an H&M there.
Do you have recommendations for where to get rain boots or shoes in women's sizes larger than 25.5 cm?
