I'm glad I don't work in a office and/or have to follow a business dress code. Although Dressing for work in summer is always a challenge for me. I dress weather appropriate and often forget the toocold settings of air conditioning system in public transportation and/or buildings TT I think all places should stick to the Cool Biz rules - except placed where it's really relevant to have the aircon set cooler ( cold imo). Temperature difference between inside and outside might cause health pbs.
Institutional and corporate spaces often have the aircon set to very low temperatures. At the office, I've often got my light merino wool cardigans handy. It might sound nuts, but I wear wool year round because it wards off chill, breathes well, and protects me from sunburn.
